Description
Have you heard of gouache and never known what it is or what it can do?
This Gouache Sketchbook Workshop will explore the use of gouache (an opaque watercolour) in our sketchbooks. You can carry with you everywhere, alongside your sketchbook and pens as it is portable and immediate, much like watercolour but with all the extra benefit of being able to work back over dark with lighter colours. We will use it to help get us into daily creative habits of observation, discovery, and wonder. We will run through different painting exercises and begin to use gouache within the familiar and friendly, safe space of our own sketchbooks. We will explore the all the versatility and challenges of this medium!
