Eutick Memorial Still Life Awards 2011
Swizzle Sticks 61 x 77 oil on canvas has been selected as a finalist in this years EMSLA. This will be the 4th consecutive year a work has been chosen for this show. Opening 18th November in the Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery and runs until the 14th January 2012.

Taking the ‘artist swap’ concept one step further, Exchange features art works by 55 contemporary artists – each artist is contributing one piece to swap with another artist in the exhibition and another piece that will be available for purchase, both works will be included in the exhibition during November 2011 at Gatakers Art Space, Maryborough, Qld.
These 2 works: Children of the Sea 25 x 35 cm oil on canvas and The Goldfinch 25 x 35 cm oil on canvas will be my offerings to this exciting project.

New solo show entitled Honestly! opens on the 18th March 2011 at the new gallery space Retrospect Galleries Qld. Cnr Elizabeth Ave and Oracle Blvd, Broadbeach.
Honestly kitsch, honestly ugly, honestly dishonest… snow domes make no claim to be anything other than a flawed imitation of something bigger, grander and purer. A foray into the anti authentic. A possible metaphor for the human condition – our incompleteness, our dorky charm and the hope for the future.

Net Work: the TLF exhibition is an exhibition of the work of 38 artists who are members of a private online forum for professional contemporary visual artists, “The Littlest Forum” (TLF).
Curated by Amanda van Gils, Net Work showcases the diversity of artists who utilise the Internet as a vital tool in their artistic careers, if not directly in their artistic practice. The Internet is having a profound impact on artist’s practice as well as providing new opportunities for artists to establish much needed connections.
The artists in this exhibition are connected through a need and willingness to communicate and interact with other artists, forming in the process an “artistic community” without geographical, social or economic boundaries.
